SympHorizons Makes Its Israeli Debut!

This evening marks the first SympHorizons concert in Israel—realizing Musica Impact’s mission to guide young instrumentalists from across the country through an intensive artistic journey culminating in a major symphonic performance on a prestigious stage.

Since April 25, students have engaged in a rigorous process of musical growth, with numerous sectional and tutti rehearsals, now culminating in this landmark concert with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.

In collaboration with the Association of Israelis of Central European Origin, students also held rehearsals and performances in senior residences, with residents invited as honored guests—creating a meaningful intergenerational experience. This partnership reflects Musica Impact’s core values of artistic excellence and community engagement.

Aligned with the program’s multidisciplinary vision, students also participated in enrichment sessions with professionals in financial literacy and personal sustainability, equipping them for success beyond the stage.

Recognizing its artistic, cultural and social significance, this concert has been chosen as the official musical event marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel, and is held in the presence of His Excellency Steffen Seibert, Ambassador of Germany to Israel.

The first half of the program features four outstanding young soloists, winners of Musica Impact’s Soloists of Impact competition, held earlier this year in collaboration with the JSO. The evening concludes with a powerful tribute to Brahms, featuring his Symphony No. 1.
